This lighthouse made of pink granite is placed in the middle of the sculptures formed by the erosion of the cooled magma, associated with the actions of rain, wind, spray and salt. It takes its name from the Breton MEN RUZ, which means Red Rock. T inhabitants of Perros-Guirec and Trégastel made a petition in 1856 to request its construction, and thus indicate the pass leading to the port of Ploumanac'h in the town of Perros-Guirec. The lighthouse that we can see today was rebuilt in 1948, after the destruction of the original one (in gray granite) by German troops.
The early morning sky and the blue sea give it its place.
