The lighthouse of Pontusval is located in Brignogan-Plages in Finistère. The construction of the lighthouse dates from 1869, to mark a dangerous coast. The Pontusval lighthouse serves as a relay between the lighthouse of Île Vierge and that of the island of Batz, it is a flagship house combining a square turret, centered in gable, and a small dwelling for the guardian. It is said to be the most photographed lighthouse in Europe, it is classified as a historical monument since 2011.
