The Four Lighthouse, or Chenal du Four lighthouse, is a lighthouse-donjon located off the town of Porspoder in Finistère. It was classified by its keepers in the " hells " category. The Chenal du Four lighthouse was automated in 1993. On this vertical photo, you can easily imagine the hell lived by its keepers during the stormy nights when each wave hits the building. All these monuments are part of our historical heritage, but also remind us that the men ensuring safety at sea sometimes do so at their own risk. Whether it is the men who built them or those who lived in them.
